Subject to Covid restrictions, Camp Rock Kids Club runs during the school holiday period for our guests aged 5-12 years. Our Panda and camp supervisors arrange a host of activities from ‘Watertastic’ games, arts & crafts, and more in the mornings. In the evenings, escape to our restaurant to dine in peace whilst we host the children for a movie night!
The Carrigaline Court Hotel is one of the few 4 star family friendly hotels in County Cork which has a pool and leisure centre! Our pool area acts as the perfect indoor playground for our visiting families. We have a separate shallow kiddie’s pool for young children.

Fota Wildlife Park
One of Ireland’s leading tourist attractions, Fota Wildlife Safari Park is just a short car trip away from Carrigaline Court Hotel.
Come face-to-face with lions & tigers in Fota’s Asian Sanctuary, howl along with the monkeys, or hop around the park with one of the many free-roaming kangaroos.
Fota is a fun-filled day out for the whole family, learning about all different kinds of animals and stopping for a family picnic in one of the local cafés.
Beaches in Cork
We’re very lucky here in Cork, with a host of beautiful beaches right at our doorstep. From Carrigaline, you can head straight down to Crosshaven and enjoy the very popular Myrtleville Beach, with Fountainstown beach just around the corner.
Or you can head to the world-renowned town of Kinsale and pay a visit to the local “Dock” Beach, or the excellent Garretstown beach just past the town.
Further afield, you can visit West Cork for the hugely popular Inchydoney Beach, or Owenahincha. Or if you’re really looking to go off the beaten track, you can visit Cork’s hidden gem in Nohoval Cove.

Only 20 minutes from the City, Farran Park is an excellent choice for a family adventure. With a children’s playground, deer enclosure and a duck pond, there is plenty to see and do to keep the little ones occupied all day.
Of course, the star of the show is the exciting Zipline course which stretches over 1.2km of tree-top activities. There are a range of circuits available, from kid-friendly ziplines, right up to 15 metre high adrenaline filled fun.

Spike Island in Cork Harbour has 1300 years of History, from a 6th Century monastery, 18th century Fortress, the world’s largest Victorian prison and centuries of island homes.
A tour of Spike Island makes for a great family day out, exploring the Island, visiting the prison and making use of the various idyllic spots for a scenic picnic.

Castles & Medieval Forts in Cork
