Collins Bar - Introduction

We are delighted to announce that the new Collins Bar opened on 15th February having been redesigned to the cost of Euro 1.8 million. With an extensive new Bar area, contemporary seating and lighting and polished wooden floors, the overall impression is of brightness and space during the day and relaxed sociable atmosphere in the evening time. Large plasma screens have been introduced throughout the bar and all major sporting events are screened live. Carvery Lunch is served every day in the Bar including Saturdays and Sundays. A tasty Bar menu is available every afternoon. The ideal venue for relaxed drinks and sociable atmosphere. Its also the perfect spot for enjoying pre or after-dinner drinks having enjoyed an excellent meal in the Bistro Restaurant in the hotel.

A number of superb live bands are due to play in Collins Bar on the Sunday night of the forthcoming Bank Holiday Weekends.

For the Jazz Bank Holiday Weekend, 26th – 29th October, we have an excellent line-up of live bands in Collins Bar. They include a variety of jazz, modern, rock and swing bands as follows:
